Just let me Bitch

We all have something to bitch about.
That is what my blog is all about, a place to let it all out. Join me and air your gripes.
I don't know about you, but I have so many things to bitch about I sometimes don't know where to start. I bitch about POLITICS, SMOKERS AND NON-SMOKERS, CELEBRITIES and even RACIAL DIFFERENCES.
Today I want to bitch about those Damned Smokers. Who do they think they are. The inconsiderate, no good....... Wait a minute, I know who they are. They are CITIZENS. Thats right, citizens of a country built on freedom and rights. Smokers are people too. Not just some second class individuals that we are forced to tolerate.
What bothers me is the way smokers are treated. I will agree, I don't want to breath second hand smoke and I don't enjoy the smell either. Just the other day as I was enjoying a little fresh air at the beach a young man a few feet away lit up a smoke. The smoke drifted my way along with that familiar smell.
I was not going to take that kind of abuse. I stood up, looked at the man and then with a purpose in mind I quietly walked a few more feet away. Problem Solved. The young man got what he wanted and I got what I wanted.
I did not mistreat him and he no longer offended me. It is a simple thing, If you don't like smoke, don't put yourself in it. MOVE.
Another thing I disagree with is TAX. The tax on ciggerates is rediculous. Ciggerates are taxed more than any other single item ever known to man. It is an unfair and discriminating tax. Its a tax that targets a minority group.
The claim is that the tax is used for the good of little childrens health benefits. That is a good thing, but why target just people who smoke to carry the bill for those who don't smoke and have children.
Lets face it, the ciggerate tax is a garaunteed money maker. The city, state and Federal officials know that if they want or need more money all they need to do is put it to a vote. There are many more non-smokers than there are smokers so it is sure to pass a vote.
If that tax were placed on something that non-smokers use not too many taxes would be approved.
Any tax should involve all people. anot the targeted few. If you want a tax that would be fair then tax something that all people use. Place that tax on toilet paper. That is an itemeverybody uses. How far do you think that tax would go?
Well, SORRY! Thats my bitch for today. Go ahead and give me hell for my thoughts. Maybe I deserve it. Maybe I don't!!
